Description
Valcambi Suisse is located in Balerna, Switzerland, where it was founded in 1961 as Valori & Cambi. Following acquisition by Credit Suisse in 1968, the refinery became known as Valcambi Suisse and earned London and Comex good delivery status.
On the reverse of all 2.5 gram Valcambi Gold Bars is the image of the refinery’s name. Found along the left-hand side of the bar is the name “Valcambi Suisse” from the lower left to the upper left corner of the bar’s reverse.
The obverse of each Valcambi Suisse gold bar includes the rotating square logo of the mint which has gained increased notoriety as the refinery’s image grows and expands. Following that engraving there is the weight, purity, and metal content of the bar which correspond with information on the assay card. You’ll also find the two-letter, six-number individual serial number and an assayer’s mark on this face.
