These 1 oz Perth Mint Gold Bars have security and verification features that provide you with peace of mind. Each bar is available with an individual serial number on the assay card, verifying the authenticity of your product. The CertiCard security features ensure that your product arrives in the condition promised in this product listing.
CertiCard security uses luminescent UV ink on the plastic packaging to detect any tampering. If the gold bar and its packaging have been disturbed, the UV ink activates and displays the message seal broken.
On the obverse side of each bar is the image of the Perth Mints logo, a graceful swan. Featured in the center of a circle, the swan is surrounded by engravings that read Perth Mint Australia. The bars purity, metal content, and weight are inscribed below.
The reverse side of these 1 oz Perth Mint Gold Bars has a repeating design of jumping kangaroos. The animals are arranged in a horizontal pattern, and are the only engravings on this side. Both the official logo and kangaroos feature a deeply-mirrored finish, giving the design sets a distinct appearance that stands out from the matte finish of the bar itself.
Australias Perth Mint is the continents oldest operating facility. Originally founded as part of the Royal Mint system during British colonial rule, the Perth Mint was handed over to the government of Western Australia and is not affiliated with the federal governments Royal Australian Mint.
