The 10 oz Valcambi Gold Bar is available to you as a brand-new product, which ships in sealed plastic packaging from Valcambi Suisse. Included in the packaging for this product you’ll find the orange assay card of the refinery.
Assay cards provide verification for your purchase. On your assay card you’ll find authenticating information that includes the weight, purity, and metal content of the bar, along with a matching, individual serial number.
On the reverse of all 10 oz Valcambi Gold Bars is the image of the refinery’s name. Found along the left-hand side of the bar is the name “Valcambi Suisse” from the lower left to the upper left corner of the bar’s reverse.
The obverse of each Valcambi Suisse gold bar includes the rotating square logo of the mint which has gained increased notoriety as the refinery’s image grows and expands. Following that engraving there is the weight, purity, and metal content of the bar which correspond with information on the assay card. You’ll also find the two-letter, six-number individual serial number and an assayer’s mark on this face.
Valcambi Suisse is located in Balerna, Switzerland, where it was founded in 1961 as Valori & Cambi. Following acquisition by Credit Suisse in 1968, the refinery became known as Valcambi Suisse and earned London and Comex good delivery status.
