All 100 Gram Istanbul Gold Refinery Gold Bars ship inside of assay cards. The packaging is tamper-evident and includes a number of security features, which includes a matching serial number to the one engraved on the bar and the signature of a certified assayer.
More importantly, there are other security features designed to combat attempts at counterfeiting IGR products. The reverse side of the assay card includes two security marks which are invisible to the naked eye. These marks are only revealed when you expose the card to UV light. Youll also find a hologram of the company logo at the bottom of the assay cards reverse.
On the obverse of the 100 Gram Istanbul Gold Refinery Gold Bar are engravings which help identify the bar and its maker. At the top of the bar are the initials IGR for Istanbul Gold Refinery. Below this, youll find the weight, metal content, and purity of the bar followed by the refinerys logo. At the very bottom is a unique serial number engraved with a seven-number code.
The reverse face of Istanbul Gold Refinery Gold Bars features one design element. The refinerys initials are listed as IGR in all capitals in a repeating pattern. The initials are set on a 45-degree angle and cover the entire reverse side of the bar.
