Walking Liberty Half dollars were minted between 1916 and 1947 at the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco mints. Many of the coins minted prior to 1941 are quite rare in choice, uncirculated condition. Many collectors assemble a “short set” from 1941 through 1947 because of its affordability.
