2003 1 oz Chinese Gold Panda (BU)

2003 1 oz Chinese Gold Panda (BU)

$2,095.03

The 2003 1 oz  Gold Chinese Panda is one of the most unique Gold Panda Coins in the series.  Slowly approaching is the Giant Panda on the reverse design. He lurks behind a bamboo tree, the beloved tree of pandas, on the look out for any type of danger. When provoked, pandas are known to have the ferocity of a tiger so don’t let their sweet, cuddly deposition fool you. The coin’s legal tender value is 500 yuan and it is beautifully inscribed below the large panda. The coin’s purity and authenticity is also labeled on the reverse side for good measure. There are many iconic symbols and structures in China and one of the most popular is the Temple of Heaven, which is a complex of religious buildings and located in the heart of Beijing. “The People’s Republic of China,” is scribbled in Chinese symbols above the temple, along with the coin’s date of mintage.

The obverse side has remained unchanged, with the Hall for Abundant Prayers and Harvests in the Temple of Heaven. The UNESCO heritage is encapsulated by an outer ring containing the temple’s name in Chinese characters and the year of issue.

Description

As a native of the mountainous regions of central China, the Panda Bear is universally loved. Their herbivorous non-threatening nature, unique look, and playfulness all contribute to the perception of an extremely amiable, easy-going, and fun creature. It is no wonder that the Panda has been the feature of China’s bullion productions since its initial conception in 1982. Since then, the Panda has gone on to be globally recognized as an established, trustworthy, and highly liquid investment. With a dynamic and ever-changing reverse design, the Panda is a collector item as much as it is an investment!

Due to its appeal to investors and collectors alike, the Chinese Panda maintains international recognition and interest. Distinguish your holdings by adding a 1 oz 2003 Chinese Panda Gold Coin today!
