Description
Each of these Peace Silver Dollar Coins comes to you with a Mint State 64 certification from either the PCGS or the NGC. A coin with this grade exhibits average mint luster and several small contact marks situated in groups. You may also notice one or two moderate-to-heavy marks, one or two small patches of hairlines, and light scuff marks or other light defects.
JM Bullion offers you these Peace Silver Dollar Coins with only the guarantee that each has a Mint State 64 grade. We cannot guarantee the date mark on the coin you receive and cannot guarantee which grading house issued the MS64 grade. If you buy more than one, please note you may receive coins with the same dates and the same grading house labels.
On the obverse side of Peace Silver Dollar Coins is a depiction of Lady Liberty. Redesigned following World War I, this image of Liberty has soft facial features, flowing hair, and a towering crown inspired by rays of sunshine.
The reverse field of Peace Silver Dollars includes a design of the American bald eagle. Reflecting the nation’s desire for peace after World War I, the eagle on this side of the coin was designed to represent peace and tranquility. The eagle is perched, wings at its side, resting on an olive branch.
Peace Silver Dollars were available from December 1921 to 1928, and again in 1934 and 1935. With production beginning on the 28th of December, 1921, just over 1 million coins were ever released with a 1921 date mark.
