Description
This unique listing gives you the chance at a random American Silver Eagle coin. We guarantee the coin you receive will be certified Mint State 70. This certification comes from either the PCGS, NGC, or CAC, as do the included labels. Examples of such include First Strike or Early Release, indicating the coins arrived for certification within the first 30 days of their respective release date by the US Mint. In scome cases, these coins may have only a CAC sticker, an indication that the CAC has verified the graded condition of the coin, even if the initial grade was assigned by a different certification house.
We cannot guarantee the year of issue for your coin, which grading house label you’ll receive, or which additional label (FS or ER) might be included. Your 1 oz American Silver Eagle will be chosen at random from our available stock when the warehouse crew packs your order for shipping.
The obverse of all American Silver Eagle Coins features the iconic Walking Liberty design. Created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman, it appeared on the nation’s half-dollar coin from 1916 to 1947 and replaced the Liberty Head design on the Barber Coinage that had been in use in the US since 1892.
On the reverse of the 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin, you will find one of two designs. Coins dated 1986 to 2021 feature the original heraldic eagle reverse designed by John Mercanti in 1986. From mid-2021 onward, the coins feature a new design of the American bald eagle in flight, as created in 2020 by Emily Damstra. The latter design debuted in mid-2021 for the 35th anniversary of the series.
